Second Generation
The BTECH GMRS-50V2 is the best GMRS base station radio available. The GMRS-50V2 is a 50 Watt GMRS mobile radio compatible with all brands of FRS and GMRS radios, as well as GMRS repeaters. It comes preloaded with 30 modifiable GMRS channels, and has 256 fully customizable channels.
Quad Watch functionality allows the user to monitor four channels simultaneously, so the GMRS-50V2 operates as multiple radios in one. With a channel selected as the primary channel, simultaneously watch up to 3 other frequencies or channels. You can simplify the radio to only watch one or two channels as well.
Next Generation
It may look like the GMRS-50X1, but the GMRS-50V2 is packed full of updates that give it that high-end motor that you need from a mobile radio.
Quick-add channels allow you to easily add or remove GMRS, Scanner, and NOAA channels quickly. Internal PCB updates allow for RJ45 audio output, improved audio receive filtering, and constant 50W output power on GMRS.
VOX Handsfree Support
The GMRS-50V2 includes VOX support. VOX allows for hands-free use with your favorite audio accessories or the included handheld microphone.

Built-in: FM/VHF/UHF/NOAA Receivers
The GMRS-50V2 has a built in FM radio along with the ability to store VHF and UHF scanner channels. This means while talking on GMRS – you can still monitor other channels on VHF or UHF including the NOAA weather bands. This can be useful for monitoring public safety channels and more! Any incoming channel stations will override the FM radio allowing you to never miss an important call.
Quad Watch
The GMRS-50V2 operates as multiple radios in one, your primary selected channel as your ‘Main’ band, while simultaneously watching up to 3 other frequencies or channels. Additionally, as a new feature added: you can monitor both VFO (frequency) and channel modes simultaneously.
VOX Hands-free
The GMRS-50V2 includes VOX support. VOX allows for hands-free use with your favorite audio accessories or the included handheld microphone
RJ-45 and K1 Accessory Support
The GMRS-50V2 is compatible with a RJ45 to K1 Audio Adaptor. K1 Audio accessories are used on our BTECH handheld radios, and now you can use those same accessories with your mobile radios!
The radio includes special menus to allow audio to be routed both through the GMRS-50V2 and K1 accessory, only through the radio, or only through the K1 audio accessory.
