Customer questions & answers
Question: What size of diamond blade do i need? ►
Answer: Selecting the size of the diamond blade is all dependent on what tool you are using, as well as the thickness of the material you are trying to cut. Every application will vary on the task at hand, as well as the bore size and segment height of the blade. for example a 115mm blade is designed for an angle grinder. This is evident from the small size of both the tool, and the blade.
Question: Which type of saw blade should I choose? ►
Answer: Correctly identifying the material to be cut is the most important factor in choosing a diamond blade. It directly affects the cutting speed and the life of the blade. As a general rule, The blade will indicate which cutting material it is designed for.
Question: Why the saw blade damaged my cutting materia or wear out rather quickly? ►
Answer: Diamonds are known to be the hardest, but each type of saw blade is designed for a range of cutting materials. If the cutting material is too soft, the saw blade will damage the cutting material, otherwise the saw blade will wear out rather quickly. If the blade matches your cutting material, a continuous rim blade is suitable for leaving a smooth cutting surface, a segment blade is more suitable for rough and fast cutting.
Question: Choose wet or dry cutting? ►
Answer: Choosing wet or dry may be a matter of user preference or job requirement. Wet cutting is usually preferred because you can cut deeper when using water as a coolant. For tile and masonry saws, either wet or dry cutting blades can be used. For power cutters, dry blades are more popular, but they are often used wet to control dust. Wet blades MUST be used with water. Dry blades may be used either dry or wet.
