We don’t just work – sometimes we play and when we do it’s often computer or tabletop games. Recently we became acquainted with X-Wing, a tactical ship-to-ship combat game in which players take control of powerful Rebel X-wings and nimble Imperial TIE fighters (among others), facing them against each other in fast-paced space combat.
The first time we saw it played was at a local comic shop and the players used a simple piece of cloth to play on. Being design and gaming oriented I immediately thought…”why hasn’t anyone brought out printed playing mats?”
